The Witch Is In

I made this board out of a scrap piece of wood from another project
  • painted it green with a purple stripe
  • cut the vinyl on my Cricut
  • applied some black ink to distress it
  • added a clear varnish coat on it to seal it in and make it shiny
  • twisted some hooks into the top and attached ribbon so I can hang it
**I also found the "bewitched" font online and used that for the words.

  1. So, my sister in law recommended your blog to me and can I just say WOW, you are amazing?! I love all of your super cute ideas. Thanks for creating this blog! How did you get the lettering online to use on your cricut?

  2. we bought a software called "sure cuts a lot" that is compatible with the Cricut and uses any font you have on your computer . . .there are some options that you don't get like you would in the Cricut software like the merging of letters to create them as one piece.

  4. I love your crafts. Thanks for sharing them. Besides having the sure cuts a lot software...do you also own design studio from cricut to make it all work. I wanted to get design studio for Christmas but now I'm thinking this other software would be way better. And how exactly do you transfer it from your cricut to your wood? The transfer tape I used didn't pick it up very well.

  5. I had read about Sure Cuts A Lot and wondered if it was as good as it sounded. I'm glad to "know" someone who has used it. I'm thinking it might be my Christmas present.

  6. I love having the sure cuts a lot program because I don't have to spend $80+ for each new font/cartridge. I don't have design studio, but a friend of mine does so I know there are a couple differences. I use the Cricut transfer tape with the cricut vinyl. Sometimes the vinyl doesn't stick too well, so I just peel it slowly and lift up the vinyl to get it to stick to the transfer tape.
